Tea Time in Ethiopia..

Ethiopia is known for its coffee, but tea is also popular in our country.
One of my fondest memories as a child in Ethiopia, was tea time over the weekends. We used tea time to relax and just talk. During that time, so many great memories were made with my friends and family.
Many years later, tea time is still important to me and my family, so I wanted to share three simple tea recipes and instructions on how to make some of my favorite teas.

Recipe 1
1-whole green cardamoms

2-whole cloves

3-cinnamon sticks with a little bit of ginger (optional)
Recipe 2

Fresh ginger tea

1/2 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger root
1/2 cup of boiling water
1/2 teaspoon of sugar or honey

Did you know, fresh ginger is helps with illnesses such as a cold or flu? The next time you feel sick, you should try it.
My other favorite tea is dry thyme leaves tea. To make this tea, just bring water to a boil and then add a pinch of thyme leaves. To enhance the flavor, you can also add a teaspoon of honey.
Another great tea that I like to drink is mint tea. Just like the above tea, bring water to a boil and then add a few mint leaves. This tea is so fresh and tasty.
As a bonus, all these teas have amazing benefits for your health.
Try one and let me know which one is your favorite.

This is great thanks for sharing! The only thing is, once you listed the ingredients you didn’tgive step by step instruction on what to do with the ingredients. I’m guessing you boil water then add everything. ?
